<h3><strong>Steps to Update Galaxy Note N7000 with ICS XXLPY 4.0.3 Firmware</strong></h3>
<p>1. After downloading extract the same and then open Odin in your computer.</p>

<p>3. Connect Galaxy Note N7000 with your PC via USB cable and after connecting the ID : COM section will turn yellow in color.</p>

<p>4. Click on “PDA” and select the file with name “N7000XXLPY_N7000XALPY_N7000XXLPT_HOME.tar.md5”. AFter selecting the file, click on Start and this will begin your firmware updating process.</p>

<h3><strong>Steps to Update HTC One X with Lee Droid Custom ROM Firmware</strong></h3>
<p>1. Download Lee Droid Custom ROM Firmware from the official <a href="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1587888" target="_blank">mod page</a> to your PC. Connect your phone to the computer via USB cable and copy the file. Please ensure that you are not placing it deep inside.</p>
<p>2. Conect your phone, download and unzip <a title="" href="http://leedroid.ftp.rshost.eu/OneX-ROMS/Flash_Boot.zip" rel="external nofollow" target="_blank">boot.img flasher</a> the file and then run the script relating to your OS from the extracted files.</p>
<p>3. Now disconnect the mobile and switch it off to enter the recovery. To enter recovery mode press the Volume Down button + Power Button, keep them pressed until the phone has been entered in the recovery mode.</p>
<p>4. After entering in recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” &gt; “choose zip from sd card” &gt;  tLee Droid Custom ROM Firmware Package which you placed. It will take about 5-10 mins to completely update the phone.</p>
<p>5. Once the phone has successfully been updated, in the recovery mode select Wipe data/factory reset and also select Wipe Cache partition and then reboot your device by selecting reboot system now.</p>

<li>Ensure that the  “Samsung KIES” option is ticked by going to “Settings &gt; Wireless &amp; Network &gt; USB Settings”before connecting the mobile.</li>
</ul>

<p>6. Once you are in recovery mode, select Wipe data/factory reset and also select Wipe Cache partition. Reboot your mobile by selecting  reboot system.</p>

In the following tutorial, we will be rooting Micromax funbook and also pointing out the pre-requisites. remember, once the device has been rooted, its warranty wont be there. So be aware of it because you can&#8217;t go back to the company to claim its warranty. If you want its warranty back than you will have to update it with the official firmware update which we will be publishing soon.</p>

Once you have connected it, place the rooting apk which you have downloaded to the root of your SD card.</p>

<h3><strong>Install Gamerz Custom ROM v10 on Galaxy S GT I9000</strong></h3>
<p>1. Download <a href="http://www.mediafire.com/?0c58a8088l6l1ew" target="_blank">Gamerz Custom ROM v10</a> on your PC. Now, connect your phone to the PC with USB cable and copy the file to your phone SD card. Do not place it too deep which may be difficult to find.</p>
<p>2. Enter the mobile in recovery mode by pressing Volume Up Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. Once you have entered the recovery mode, select “Wipe data/factory reset”, “Wipe Cache partition” to cleer the cache.</p>
<p>3. Select “install zip from sd card” &gt; “choose zip from sd card” &gt; “Gamerz Zip File which you placed in Step 1. It will take about 10 minutes to completely update your phone. Once it has been done, select “++++ Go Back ++++” and then select reboot system now.</p>

All it is a newer version, all the bugs of the previous version has been solved. This is an unofficial update and not released by Samsung.</p>
<p>We strictly suggest you to follow all the pre-requisites listed below and the installation guide. Do not add any other step from your own side which may result in any injury to the phone.</p>

<p><strong>Compatibility</strong>: This Custom Firmware ROM is only compatible with Galaxy S GT I9000 and not with Galaxy S GT I9000B or any other version.</p>
<p><strong>Pre-requisites:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Download <a href="http://www.danlod30t.com/amestris-the-orange-magic-v7-3-final/" target="_blank">Download the Amestris v7.3 Firmware Package</a> to your PC.</li>
<li>Charge the battery at least 60% to ensure that the mobile doesn&#8217;t gets turned off in between.</li>
<li>Uninstall all the antivirus software which may interrupt the installation process.</li>
<li>Your device must be rooted on the same firmware.</li>
<li>The data may get lost or corrupted after the installation process. To backup data follow the guide given below:</li>
<ul>
<li>Backup <strong>SMS </strong>by using “SMS Backup &amp; Restore app”.</li>
<li>Transfer contacts by syncing them with Gmail application</li>
<li>Store Call Logs</li>
<li>Copy <strong>Songs, Videos, Files</strong> from internal  External SD Card</li>

<p><strong>Special Instructions for Users on Custom ROM Firmware:</strong></p>
<p>It is very necessary to be on  XWJW1 Firmware, and we do not recommend you to update to Amestris Custom ROM Firmware from your current firmware version.</p>
<p>Lag fixes should be disabled from the recovery mode. Also, Dalvik Cache should be cleared completely before you start update process.</p>
<h3><strong>Installing Orange Amestris ROM v7.3 Custom Firmware on Galaxy S GT I9000</strong></h3>
<p>1. Your mobile must be rooted on the same firmware before you proceed any further. If you are not on the same firmware, then you must root your mobile on XWJW1 Firmware.</p>
<p>2. Download Amestris v7.3 Firmware Package from the pre-requisite section to your PC. After downloading, connect your mobile to PC via USB cable.</p>
<p>3. Place the file downloaded to the root of your SD card and remember not to put it too deep which may be hard to find. After placing, disconnect your mobile and enter recovery mode by pressing Volume Up button + the Home key button and turn ON your device by pressing power up button.</p>

<p>4. After entering recovery mode, select “Wipe data/factory reset” &amp; “Wipe Cache partition” and clear the cache.</p>
<p>5. Select “install zip from sd card” &gt; “choose zip from sd card” &gt; “Amestris ROM v7.3 Custom ROM Firmware Zip Package” and it will take about 10 mins to install.</p>
<p>6. Once its done, the phone will come in recovery mode again, and after that select “++++ Go Back ++++” and then select “reboot system now” to restart the mobile.</p>

<p>1. Download <a title="" href="http://www.mediafire.com/?3d6da7j5i306v7u" rel="external nofollow" target="_blank">ICS Dark Night Custom ROM Firmware Package</a> in your PC. After downloading connect your mobile to PC via USB cable and copy the file to the root of your SD card.</p>
<p>2. Enter the recovery mode by pressing Volume Up Key + OK button and then Power Button all together. If you are finding difficulties to enter the recovery mode, watch the video:</p>
